“I strive to help students think critically, make meaningful connections, and build the confidence to succeed in college and beyond.”

For nearly a decade, I’ve tutored students of all ages, subjects, and learning styles, helping them achieve measurable academic growth and lasting confidence. My goal is to spark curiosity and make each lesson engaging, approachable, and meaningful for learners. My approach focuses on meeting each student where they are, then helping them grow into more skilled and curious learners.

I currently teach AP Psychology, yet have extensive experience teaching history courses ranging from Ancient History to U.S. History. My experience also includes teaching a Leadership class for 9th graders, where students built essential academic and life skills such as creating study schedules, setting goals, and strengthening their communication. Whether through hands-on projects, discussions, or research-based activities, I strive to help students think critically, make meaningful connections, and build the confidence to succeed in college and beyond.

I earned a B.A. in History with a Minor in Child Psychology and Development, followed by an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland, College Park. A central focus of my studies was finding effective ways to make history and the social sciences engaging, relatable, and accessible for all learners.
