Mathematics has a way of revealing the elegant patterns underlying the world around us, and I'm passionate about helping students discover that for themselves. I tutor college-level mathematics across the full undergraduate sequence, including college algebra, precalculus, calculus I–III, differential equations, probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and graph theory.

Beyond tutoring, I serve as a full-time lecturer at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT, where I teach mathematics and engineering courses. My academic background includes a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, along with an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics.

My approach to tutoring starts with understanding how each student thinks, where their specific struggles with mathematical concepts and patterns arise, and then building a bridge between the course material and their individual reasoning style. I aim to help every student achieve their “aha!” moments and challenge the stigma that math is simply too hard to understand.
